Welcome to MaterialChicks.com We are two women who openly admit to having an addiction. Like most addictions, we know we are not alone. Our husbands and our families feel we both need treatment but rather than listen to their extreme ideas, such as locking away credit cards etc, we decided to come up with our own solution. Our addiction is one we are sure many of you can relate to. It is of course, the continual need to quilt, stitch, applique and hunt down those much, much needed patterns and sewing requisites to satisfy the hunger with in. So save on those health farms and spas, don't listen to the nagging any longer! Instead remind them that to quilt and stitch is to allow us to have a smile on our faces and joy in our hearts. A recipe for all round success within the home. We have decided to embrace our love of quilting and stitching and share it with you. With in our website we are aiming to bring to you some fabulous quilting and stitchery patterns, some wacky and gorgeous doll patterns and of course those much needed finishing touches - the wire hangers and buttons. We are a New Zealand website so all our pricing are in New Zealand dollars.
